Joomla is open-source free Content Management System. It mainly used for publishing web Content. Joomla 1.0 was release on September 22, 2005. The latest Joomla 3.6 was released on July 12, 2016. Release 3.6 contains download sub form field, show all menu items, improved UX, and improved Joomla! Updates, Menu type ACL, categories on the fly.

To develop any website first of all we need space for that website on sever. You can use web server service or you can use local host which can act as web server on your system and available free of cost. You can get many local hosts on internet for your development so choose which suit best for your System.
Sever like XAMPP, WAMP and LAMP are popular websites for web development purpose. Suppose we take XAMPP as our local host. After installing it on your system you need to create a folder in XAMPP htdocs folder. This folder will contain all the Joomla files.
Now, Download Joomla Latest version. This file is in zip format extract it and copy all files and paste in folder which is already created in XAMPP htdocs folder.
Next thing is create a database:
For the all tables for Joomla and for that go to phpmyadmin. Create database where all Joomla tables are available.

After that click to next then select sample data as none and then installation process of Joomla start.
You will progress of installation by finishing that you will see a page containing link for site and administrator. A yellow notice is appear on your screen saying that you can remove installation folder by clicking that you will removing this folder from Joomla folder directly.
By clicking site go to frontend and by clicking Administrator you will go admin panel.
