Sundar Pichai, the executive who replaced Larry Page as Google’s CEO announced on Monday.
The new CEO of Google born in 1972, Sundar Pichai grew up and did his schooling in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Pichai was graduated from Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT ) in Metallurgical Engineering. Pichai was recommended by his Professors at IIT to pursue PhD at Stanford University. But he decided to do M.S and MBA. He holds an M.S. from Stanford University in Material Sciences and Engineering and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was named a Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar.
