The web is an emerging medium coming forward by enthusiastic developers and creators. Animation is just a major part of web design that has risen to high level in recent years. The trends and techniques for adding motion to an interface may have changed, but the output result in different designs.
The following techniques are a popular in website animation. JavaScript is a main programming animation language, CSS has becoming easier and readily supports the design effects.

•Homepage Animation:
A website’s homepage should be improved through branding, icons, illustrations, or any number of added techniques or effects. Animation is one of important technique that really makes up a homepage to draw attention from new visitors.

•Content Galleries & Slideshows:
Interactive page layouts can also use animation for a catchy response to user input. Mobile apps were the first founder for the concept of immediate response based on the user’s action.
For example Google’s Material Design & Apple’s iOS both support multiple animation styles. Users get the effects with swipe, tap, touch & hold, pull down, pinch & zoom, among other alternatives. These interactions will create different animations based on the operating system’s UX guidelines.

Let’s take an example of Apple Mac website. It shows a product slider featuring all of the various Mac products. On first page load the animation effect will load and fade into the slider.

•Form Input Fields:
Form Input fields are important and interactive elements in websites .Many forms are composed of various input types like text fields, radio buttons, checkboxes, select menus, and other thingamabobs.
Animation effects to form looks like content sliders – they give a sense of user interactivity. Users will get different effects, like effects from their click, scroll, or key press event.

•Expansive Page Motion:
Though the most difficult and tough style of web animation is a layout based on many various animated elements. There is no official name for this technique but the idea follows that a designer would create lots of different animation effects for the page load, along with user activities like mouse hovers.

Limitations:
Though the animation supports to only modern browsers it adds a beautiful effect without a more or extra effort code.Little animations demonstrate careful attention to detail, and it’s often the little things that color our opinion of a website.
Another use of form animations is with input labels. This trend is still fairly new but it is a new method of capturing attention. The premise behind this animation is to save space in a text field when needed.
